Château de Chambert – Grand Vin
Region: Cahors
Vintage: 2010

Description
Made of 100% Malbec, this prestigious wine is produced on some of the best plots of land in the whole Cahors region. Its deep purple, almost black colour barely conceals an intense bouquet of ripe red berries, with a dash of white pepper and spice. Its freshness and slight acidity are typical of the 2008 vintage – balanced by a generous, fleshy, nearly silky texture and ripe and smooth tannins, they produce a powerfully balanced wine, with a strong but refined, elegant personality. This wine is elaborated with biodynamic grapes.

Food & wine pairing
Perfect with red meats – beef, lamb, duck, game, etc. – braised or in sauce, as well as intensely flavoured patés and cold cuts. It can also make an original accompaniment to dark chocolate.
