Luc Sébille
Vintage: 2014
Vin de Pays (A.O.C. Chinon until 2013)
Red (Cabernet Franc)

Description
This wine is elaborated with 100% Cabernet Franc, from 50-year-old vines situated in one of the Loire’s best regions for reds. It is well-balanced, with notes of ripe red fruit such as raspberries and black-currants, and silky tanins. The grapes used for this wine are currently undergoing the Organic Certification process.

In typical Luc Sebille fashion, the owner didn’t fill in the countless forms required for AOC certification in time for the 2014 vintage, and was chastised by the French administration by being stripped of his Chinon AOC and   relegated to the Vin de Pays league. But rest assured: his Debonnaire has never tasted better.

Low sulfites can lead to secondary fermentation, which takes place after the wine has been bottled. For maximum enjoyment, and to reveal the win’es complexity and length, decant before drinking.
